Cancelling A Domain

Domains can not be cancelled in the sense that a hosting account is.  The reason is, unless there is an action by the registry, a domain is valid until it expires .  As such, turning off any auto-renew options for the domain and not renewing it will effectively cancel the domain.  Also removing the domain from your hosting account will also make it not active for people to visit.
